UK Bank Lands BoNY CIO for North America

Schroders has tapped the Bank of New York to land a chief operating office for its North American business. Mark Hemenetz has taken the job at the United Kingdom-based asset manager. He is based in New York City and reports directly to Peter Clark, Schroders’ North America head.

No officials at the Bank of New York were available to immediately comment on how Hemenetz's position was or will be filled. He held the titles of executive vice president and director of Investment Management at BoNY.

Clark said that Hemenetz will "play a key role in implementing" the banks' operating strategy in the Americas. "I am delighted to welcome Mark to the team at Schroders and look forward to working closely with him going forward as we build our business in the Americas," he added.
