Tuesday, September 23, 2014 OppFunds Seeks a Communications Head OppFunds is looking for a new corporate voice. The fund giant is seeking a vice president, corporate communication, who will develop and execute "a comprehensive and integrated communications strategy which represents the company accurately and transparently to all its key internal and external constituents," according to the job description. Moreover, according to the description, the candidate will work "closely with executive leadership and the business units to develop and execute broader external communications strategies and plans that complement, support and enhance overall brand and corporate positioning. This broad group will include the CEO, CIO, CMO, HR head, Global Distribution head, General Counsel and others." The previous corporate communications leader, Samuel Wang, left OppFunds in June after nearly four years in the role. He is now head of corporate communications at Synchrony Financial.
