Huntington Finds Its Next Asset Servicing Chief Within

A familiar face is taking over Huntington Asset Services Inc.

Today Jim Dunlap, senior executive vice president and regional banking and private client group director at the Columbus, Ohio-based bank, confirms that Jeff Young is taking over as president of HASi. Young takes over from Joe Rezabek, and Huntington says he is leaving "to lead a privately held firm headquartered in Columbus."

Young most recently served as senior vice president of HASi. He joined the mutual fund servicer (then called Unified Fund Services) five years ago, after working with a nearby wealth management RIA, Wealthstone. He also held top posts at what was then Bisys Fund Services (now part of Citi). He's an alumnus of Ohio University.

Rezabek took over HASi three years ago after leading Citi's North American fund services chief. He's an alumnus of Roger Williams University.

HASi offers fund accounting, administration, compliance, custody, distribution, and transfer agency services. Its clients have more than $45 billion in combined assets.
