Schwartz Investment Counsel is the investment advisor to the Catholic-based Ave Maria Mutual Funds. Schwartz himself had previously been CIO, too. Yet Mike Richter, director of marketing at Schwartz, notes that Platte and Schwartz work together on those duties and that the title is "really a formality".
