A Multialt Fund Drops a Subadvisor After a Year

A multialternative mutual fund just dropped one of its subadvisors not quite a year after that subadvisor came on board.

Orinda Asset Management revealed in a recent filing that, effective September 23, Rothschild Investment Corporation is no a longer a subadvisor to the two-star, $29.2-million Vivaldi Orinda Macro Opportunities Fund. Crescat Portfolio Management and Vivaldi Asset Management will continue to subadvise the fund, which first launched in April 2012.

Rothschild president Bart Bonga and senior PM Robert Piton were first added to the fund as PMs on October 20, 2014.

MFWire could not reach Orinda managing partner Craig Kirkpatrick or Rothschild's Brad Drake for comment on the change.
