Who Will Abby Johnson and Bob Reynolds Vote For?

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are officially the two major party candidates for U.S. President now. Will top fundsters like Fidelity chief Abby Johnson and Putnam chief Bob Reynolds support Clinton, Trump, or perhaps go third party?

Abigail Johnson
Fidelity
President, Chief Executive Officer
Reynolds previously supported Republican Jeb Bush, and Johnson also supported Bush. Fido's political action committee also donated to two other Republican candidates, Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.

Yet Bush, Paul, and Rubio have all dropped out of the race, and Trump and Clinton are the official Republican and Democratic nominees, respectively. Beth Healy of the Boston Globe highlights how different business leaders in Beantown are reacting to the narrowed presidential field, with some still on the fence, some leaning to Clinton, some to the Libertarians, and some to Trump.

Robert L. Reynolds
Putnam Investments
President, Chief Executive Officer
Reynolds, for his part, now tells the Globe that he is "focused on the House and Senate campaigns." As for Johnson, the Globe writes, "it's not yet known whom she'll support next."
