Appointment: Craig Foster

On August 10, Foster was appointed as the new CFO of Financial Engines, replacing Ray Sims. Foster will be in charge of overseeing the companys' finance organization as well as being a part of the companys' executive board management team. Foster will report to Larry Raffone, the president and CEO of Financial Engine. Foster has approximately 20 years of experience supporting high-growth companies. Prior to assuming his current position, he was the CFO of Amobee, an high tech marketing company.

Company: Raymond James Financial

Appointment: Gary P. Cohen

On August 10, Cohen was appointed as the new regional executive for Alex. Brown, a division of Raymond James Financial, in the Los Angeles office. Cohen is responsible for supporting and growing the office in LA which is currently made up of 10 client advisors who manage approximately $12 billion in client assets. Cohen had nearly 30 years of experience in the financial services industry which includes working for regional boutiques to major bulge brackets such as J.P. Morgan and UBS.

Company: Newfleet Asset Management

Appointment: William Irvine

On August 10, Newfleet named Irvine as the head of their institutional business development division. Irvine was also named senior managing director of their firm. Irvine will be responsible for expanding Newfleets' funds and services by offering its diverse array of fixed income portfolios to different institutional investors which includes foundations, endowments, public funds, and multi-employer plans. Irvine has over 25 years of experience in the financial service industry and was previously a managing director who lead institutional business development at RBC Global Asset Management.
