Prepping For Growth, a Beantown ETF Strategist Promotes Three

A Boston-area ETF strategist's senior leadership ranks are growing, thanks to several promotions. Watch for the firm to add some new hires gradually, too.

Dave Haviland, PM and managing partner at Needham, Massachusetts-based Beaumont Capital Management (BCM), confirms three recent promotions: marketing manager Courtney Doyle to the newly created position of director of marketing; national accounts manager Rob Hawke to the newly created position of director of national accounts; and research analyst Denis Rezendes to assistant PM. Next up will be some hiring.

"Right now we're hiring another internal desk person, and next in line is another national accounts person," Haviland tells MFWire. "After that, we'll see. We'll only take one or two at a time."

"It's certainly not going to be lightning quick," Haviland adds.

Beaumont Financial Partners (which includes BCM) now works with about $4.5 billion and has 48 people on staff. "Rounding out the management team" with the freshly promoted trio, along with data manager Kaitlyn Hinck, will allow BCM to continue to expand, Haviland explains, as they've been "instrumental in [BCM's] rapid growth and success."

"We've grown to the point where we need an actual management team in place ... We're quite excited because we've got a lot of good new brands in the fire in terms of new growth prospects," Haviland says. "We're going to need more staff underneath, but we need people to manage them as well."

Doyle, an alumna of Bentley University, joined BCM in 2014. Prior to that she worked with Get In Shape For Women and Athena Capital Advisors.

Hawke, an alumnus of the University of Vermont, joined BCM in 2012. Prior to that he worked with Fidelity.

Rezendes, an alumnus of Babson College, joined BCM in 2014. Prior to that he worked with P-Solve US and R&R Capital.
