Friday, November 16, 2018 Kinzie Hires an Internal Sales Manager A midwestern liquid alts entrepreneur recently hired an internal sales manager from a Boston-area ETF strategist. Last month Jonathan Dacanay joined Excelsior, Minnesota-based LoCorr Funds [profile] as internal sales manager, team leader, MFWire has learned. Dacanay most recently served in a similar position at Needham, Massachusetts-based Beaumont Capital Management (BCM). Dacanay did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Dave Haviland, managing partner and PM at BCM, referred inquiries to a spokesman for BCM, who in turn declined to comment, citing BCM company policy. Kevin Kinzie, CEO of LoCorr and of LoCorr parent Octavus Group, confirms that Dacanay recently moved to Minnesota to fill the shoes of a LoCorr sales desk manager (one of two) who recently left. "We hired Jonathan, who's run a couple of sales desks across the country," Kinzie tells MFWire. An alumnus of Bentley University, Dacanay spent more than a year at BCM before joining LoCorr.
