Tuesday, October 7, 2003 Bisys Names BizDev VP for Private Equity Bisys has tapped Mark A. O’Connor as vice president of business development for its Private Equity Services division. He reports to Norman Leben, managing director of the unit. The division currently supports approximately 80 clients and more than 225 private equity funds, representing more than $30 billion in committed capital according to Bisys. Steven Millner, managing director of BISYS Private Equity Services, said O'Conner will play an "extremely active role" in the expansion of the division's client base and business. Prior to joining BISYS, O’Connor was executive director of CIBC Capital Partners where he helped build and manage the firm’s private equity fund investment unit.
