A 19-Year Invesco Vet Heads Out

Birmingham, Alabama-based Sam Mosolino is leaving Atlanta-based Invesco [profile], MFWire has learned. His most recent role at the company was as a senior regional vice president, in charge of wirehouse firms in Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle.

A spokesperson for Invesco did not immediately respond to a call for comment.

An alumnus of Penn State University, Mosolino had been with Invesco since 2000, in a variety of roles, including inbound sales specialist and senior internal wholesaler.

The news of Mosolino’s departure comes shortly before the expected close of Invesco's acquisition of OppenheimerFunds. Some distribution jobs are likely to be cut in the aftermath of the deal, which is expected to close later this month.
