A Harbor SVP Departs, Again

A senior Harbor Funds [profile] executive recently left the company again, this time after an 18-year stint.

Ed Leedom left Harbor Funds Distributors on May 10, MFWire has learned. Leedom most recently served as senior vice president of sales and marketing at the Chicago-based mutual fund firm, and he spent 25 years at the company.

Leedom and Rob Alessandro, regional account executive at Harbor, did not return calls for comment. Emily Stoermer, a spokeswoman for Harbor, declined to comment.

An alumnus of Bowling Green State University, Leedom re-joined Harbor in 2001. Over the years he served as a senior account executive and then VP of sales and marketing before rising to SVP. Before that, he worked at First Mercantile and First Financial Services Group. And earlier on he spent another seven years at Harbor, before leaving for the first time in 1996.
