After 14 Years, a Top Marketer Leaves a $72B-AUM Firm


A marketing leader is leaving a publicly traded, $72.2-billion-AUM asset manager after more than 14 years with the firm.

Palm Beach Gardens, Florida-based Steve Dunn is exiting from Cohen & Steers [profile], MFWire has learned. He served as executive vice president and director of institutional marketing at the New York City-based mutual fund firm.

Dan Charles, who joined Cohen & Steers last September in the newly created role of head of global distribution, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Paul Zettl, who joined Cohen & Steers last May as senior vice president and head of global marketing, did not immediately return a call for comment.

Dunn joined Cohen & Steers in 2005. Prior to that he worked with Essex Investment Management. He is an alumnus of Babson College and of Brown University.
