Managing director Jean Hempel (Heath-Lynch), as previously reported, took over last month as head of the asset manager network at Envestnet. A successor has not yet been named for Hempel's old role, managing director fo enterprise consulting, RIA network.
"A search is currently underway for a replacement and in the interim, Dave Robinson, Managing Director, Head of Strategic Partnerships & Enterprise Consulting, Envestnet will oversee the team," a company spokeswoman tells MFWire via email.
In her new role, Hempel succeeds Estee Faranda (Jimerson), who recently left the company. Hempel now leads a 15-person team that supports more than 100,000 advisors and more than 500 asset managers (including 148 "fully distributed strategist managers" and 92 of the 100 largest SMA managers). She reports to Jim Patrick, group president of Envestnet PMC.
