Semi-Retirement Calls to a Fund-Marketer-Turned-Consultant

A veteran fund-marketer-turned-consultant is preparing to start saying goodbye, but he's not riding off into the sunset just yet.

Robert "Bob" Kennedy
Fuse Research Network
Relationship Manager
Last week, Neil Bathon, managing partner of Fuse Research Network, confirmed that Bob Kennedy will shift into semi-retirement at the end of the April. Kennedy serves as relationship manager at Fuse.

According to the Fuse team, Kennedy will be the first member ever to retire from the 13-year-old consulting firm, though he will continue to work with the firm as a contractor

"Since we thought it best to ease into the 'new world order,' we have convinced Bob to shift into a contractor mode," Bathon states. " Clients can expect to see his fingerprints on the research reports, white papers, research briefs and position pieces that Fuse generates well beyond his last official day."

Kennedy joined Fuse back in 2015. Prior to that, he worked with SSGA, Columbia, and John Hancock. He also worked at Bathon's prior venture, FRC.
