Thursday, November 4, 2021 Steers Passes the Reins A non-founder is poised to take over a publicly traded mutual fund firm after 29 years with the 35-year-old company.
The move comes after Harvey temporarily rose to acting CEO back in February while Steers was recovering from surgery. (Steers returned to his duties on June 1.) "Joe has been here since the early days of Cohen & Steers and has been integral to our firm's many accomplishments," Steers states.
