One Tool, Many Functions

Shareholders Service Group, Inc. has teamed up with Investigo Corporation to provide a new reporting platform for advisors using its system.

The new platform will merge five normally separate advisor functions onto one platform. Now, advisors can do performance reporting, cost basis maintenance, daily data update and reconciliation, management fee billing, and contact management functions enabling advisors to produce performance reports for any time period, compare performance with most indices, maintain cost basis and tax lot information or create periodic management fee invoices using one tool.

The program is $150 a month for advisors with a nominal charge per account. Advisors can also allow their clients to log in and view their accounts, reports and other related documents that the advisor has prepared.

SSG's brokerage account data is automatically updated daily. Investigo offers direct interfaces with MoneyGuide Pro, Morningstar Principia, and Laser App. Training and support of the new service will be provided through Shareholders Service Group.

Shareholders Services was co-founded by Peter Mangan, president and CEO, and Bob Reed, executive vice president and CFO. Mangan developed and grew the advisor services group at Jack White & Company in the early 90's, and was an executive vice president in charge of TD Waterhouse Institutional Services, where he launched the advisor technology platform, VEO. Reed was a co-founder of Jack White & Company in 1978, where he was the chief of operations, finance and compliance.
