Monday, January 26, 2004 Legg Mason Launches New Fund Legg Mason Investments, a subsidiary of Legg Mason based outside the U.S. has launched its first British-based Asian ex-Japan equity fund. The new fund will be managed by Battery March Financial Management Inc. Although the fund will not hold Japanese equities it will be comprised of 50 to 70 funds.
