Wednesday, May 30, 2007 Fido Traders Saying Sayanara to Tokyo Fidelity is moving its Japananes equity trading desk out of Japan. The Wall Street Journal's Fund Track column reports that Fidelity will move the seven traders to Hong Kong from Tokyo before the year is out. The move is being made as part of a consolidation of Fidelity's 11 regional Asian trading desks. Fidelity's Tokyo-based mutual fund managers and analysts will remain in Tokyo.
