A 50-Year-Old AM's Capital City Office Moves

The team at a 50-year-old, $5.02-billion-AUM, Empire State fund firm is moving one of their offices into a bigger location in town.

The folks at Fenimore Asset Management [profile] (home of the FAM Funds) recently moved their Albany branch into a new space at 142 Wolf Road. (That's about 3.5 miles away from their old spot at 4 Executive Park Drive in Albany's Stuyvesant Plaza.) This Friday, April 5, at 10am eastern, Fenimore CEO Anne Putnam and president Christian Snyder will host a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new location, a company spokesperson confirms. Mark Eagan, president and CEO of the Capital Region Chamber, is also expected to participate in the ceremony.

Fenimore's new Albany office is reportedly in a new, 5,750-square-foot building, built by Bonacquisti Bros. and designed by WCGS Architects.

"The new Albany office is more than double the size of Fenimore's previous Albany location," a Fenimore spokesperson tells MFWire in an emailed statement. "Investors can have their portfolio reviewed and discussed investment management and financial services with experienced and caring professionals. This larger space also accommodates the firm's growing team, including several long-tenured and new associates who live regionally."

Fenimore's new Albany office is about 41 miles east of the firm's headquarters in Cobleskill, New York.
