Tuesday, April 27, 2004 Bond Firm Fills Head Research Post 40/86 Advisors, the fixed income investment advisor formerly known as Conseco Capital Management promoted Jeffrey Lovell, a vice president and senior securities analyst at the company, to director of research. Lovell fills the spot left by Robert Cook, who chose to pursue a career opportunity outside the firm. Lovell will report to Greg Hahn, chief investment officer, and Eric Johnson, president. 40/86 Advisors serves a variety of institutional clients and has more than $26 billion in assets under management. The Conseco, Inc. subsidiary changed its name last year amidst bankruptcy proceeding and a scandal over its former president's pay package.
