Wednesday, March 11, 2026 A 20Y Fidelity Exec Succeeds a 36Y Fido Vet A 36-year veteran of the Boston Behemoth is passing his leadership role to a 20-year company veteran.
Framingham, Massachusetts-based Tarlin retired from Beantown-based Fidelity in January, the Fidelity spokesperson writes. As for Boston-based Pogorelec, he will remain chief compliance officer for Fidelity's equity and high income funds during the transition, the spokesperson adds.

He studied at Boston University's Questrom School of Business and at Swarthmore College. Pogorelec first joined Fidelity in 2006. Before then, he previously worked at Ropes & Gray LLP.
