Monday, June 28, 2004 Pennsylvania Asset Manager Names New PM Berwyn, Pennsylvania-based Turner Investment Partners hired Steven L. Gold as senior portfolio manager and security analyst. Gold started the position one week ago. Gold, as a member of the firm's Core/Value Equity Team, will provide support for Turner's Small Cap Value Equity, Small Cap Core Equity and mid-cap core stock portfolios. Gold will be based out of Hartford, Connecticut. Turner said that Gold's appointment "supports the recent growth in Turner's investment services and individual responsibilities of the team." Turner spokesman Tucker Hewes could not comment on whether that growth will translate to additional hiring on the team.
