Friday, February 25, 2005 T. Rowe Closing Mid-Cap Fund T. Rowe Price is closing its Mid-Cap Value Fund to new investors. The soft close will allow existing investors to continue to contribute to the fund. The Baltimore-based fund firm said it closed the fund to prevent large inflows from impairing the portfolio manager's ability to fund undervalued mid-cap stocks. Assets in the fund have jumped to $5.1 billion from $2.0 billion a year ago and just $529 million in 2003. Printed from: MFWire.com/story.asp?s=9120 Copyright 2005, InvestmentWires, Inc.
