Wednesday, March 9, 2005 Northwest Firm Names Principals Two executives at Rainier Investment Management have been promoted to principals. John O'Halloran, president of Rainier, and James Ridgeway, director of Taft-Hartley client service and sales, will both share in the bottom-line profits of the firm. "We believe that broadening the firm's ownership with our second generation professionals is healthy for Rainier and serves the best interests of our clients and Rainier Mutual Fund shareholders," J. Glenn Haber, president and chief operating officer of Rainier stated in a release. Rainier also announced that Daniel Brewer, senior portfolio manager and equity research analyst; Andrea Durbin, director of fixed-income management; and Kurt Polk, director of client service and consultant relations will all be awarded common stock of the company. The Seattle, Washington-based firm manages $1.5 billion in mutual fund assets, and $5.6 billion in total institutional and mutual fund assets.
