A week after completing a $21 million settlement with the SEC, BISYS Fund Services has hired two new sales vice presidents. The back-office provider announced Tuesday that David J. Giannone and Joseph A. Miskel, Jr. have been named Vps of global business development.

Jylanne Dunne, executive vice president of global business development, is full of praise for the new hires, and described the hirings as part of a push into the international market.

"We are very fortunate to have these gentlemen add their multi-dimensional talents and strengths to our sales team," Dunne stated. "They will be instrumental in helping to bring BISYS' core fund outsourcing services and innovative solutions to our global marketplace."

According to the release, Giannone will work out of New York City, while Miskel will be based in Dresher, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining BISYS, Giannone worked in sales positions at The Dreyfus Corporation, Alger Funds, Boston Financial Data Service and real estate management company TSS. Miskel has worked at SEI Investments and Merrill Lynch.
