Touchstone Makes Four New Sales Hires

Touchstone Investments has hired four new external wholesalers. The new wholesalers--Feather Girkin, John Nealson, Bruce Palm and David Rosensweet--will focus on several different regions. Girkin, who will cover the New England region, was previously a paraplanner with Ameriprise Financial Services in Ohio. Nealson will cover the central and mountain regions, including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Wyoming; he joins Touchstone from Old Mutual Investment Partners. Palm will cover the north central region, including Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin; he was previously regional sales director with RiverSource Investments. Finally, Rosensweet will be in charge of New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania territories. He joins Touchstone from Cohen & Steers Capital Management where he was a marketing associate responsible for growing mutual fund sales throughout the Northwest and Middle Atlantic territories


Four individuals have joined the company as external wholesalers serving financial professionals across the country.

New external wholesalers Feather Girkin, John Nealson, Bruce Palm and David Rosensweet will focus sales efforts in several regions.

Girkin, 29, will focus her efforts serving financial professionals in New England.. She has diversified experience in the financial services industry. She joins Touchstone from Ameriprise Financial Services in Ohio where she was a paraplanner, managing multiple client relationships. Prior to that, Girkin was employed by Fidelity Investments, serving as a financial representative, assisting clients on 529 plans, trusts, personal investments, retirement savings and trading of mutual funds. Girkin holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. She received a BA from Northern Kentucky University in International Studies, with a minor in French. Girkin also spent a year abroad in Paris, studying local government, international relations and European History.

Nealson, 36, will serve financial professionals in the central and mountain regions, including Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Wyoming. He has five years of experience in the financial services industry. He joins Touchstone from Old Mutual Investment Partners. Prior to that, he was an investment advisor as a partner in his own firm, Nealson Investments, L.L.C. and held account executive positions with Eagle Global Logistics, Emery Worldwide and PepsiCo. Nealson holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses. He attended Oklahoma State University, MIS Degree Program.

Palm, 39, will serve financial professionals in the north central region, including Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. He has more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joins Touchstone from RiverSource Investments where he served as a regional sales director. Prior to that, he held positions with RBC Capital Markets, Dain Rauscher, American Express Financial Advisors and John G. Kinnard & Co. Palm holds FINRA Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses. He received a BA in History from the University of Minnesota.

Rosensweet, 31, will work with financial professionals in New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania. He has over nine years of experience in the financial services industry. He joins Touchstone from Cohen & Steers Capital Management where he was a marketing associate responsible for growing mutual fund sales throughout the Northwest and Middle Atlantic territories. Prior to that, he held positions at Wachovia Securities and Bear Stearns. Rosensweet holds FINRA Series 7, 63, 65, Life & Health Insurance licenses and the CMFC® designation. He received a BA in Philosophy, Politics and Law from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
