Janus Makes an Institutional Hire

DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Janus Capital Group Inc. (NYSE: JNS - News) has appointed Todd Bitzer as vice president and team leader of Corporate, Foundations & Endowments with Janus Capital Group Institutional.

Bitzer is responsible for marketing INTECH, Janus and Perkins-managed strategies to corporations, foundations and endowments in the Southeast region of the U.S. He reports to Dan Charles, senior vice president and managing director of Janus Capital Group Institutional.

“With over 20 years of industry experience, Todd brings an incredible amount of knowledge and expertise to Janus,” Charles said. “I believe our Corporate, Foundations & Endowments team will continue to flourish under his leadership.”

Bitzer joins Janus from Systematic Financial Management, LP where he served as managing director. Prior to that, Bitzer was a principal of Business Development with Turner Investment Partners from 1999-2001. He also served in various institutional sales positions with Renaissance Investment Management and PIMCO Advisors, LP. Bitzer holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia.
