Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC Implements Envision Financial System’s PowerAgent Recordkeeping System for its Transfer Agency Services Business

Envision's shareholder accounting system helps Ultimus position itself for growth and increased customer service effectiveness.

Irvine, CA November 14, 2011 Envision Financial Systems, Inc., a leading provider of real-time technology solutions to the mutual fund industry, today announced that Ultimus Fund Solutions, LLC, a mutual fund service provider, has transitioned to the PowerAgent shareholder recordkeeping system. The move to PowerAgent will help Ultimus adapt its solutions to the unique needs of its current and prospective client base.

Envision was selected after a comprehensive review of shareholder accounting technologies available in the market. Ultimus was looking to efficiently and effectively enhance its customer service capabilities through the use of industry leading technology.

Mark Seger, Managing Director of Ultimus Fund Solutions said "Our core belief is 'Your Fund Matters.' Because that is the foundation of everything we do, we feel just as strongly technology needs to support as opposed to constrain our business. Envision's PowerAgent system fits perfectly with these philosophies. Using PowerAgent, Ultimus has the flexibility, functionality and access to information that allows us to customize our services to our clients’ needs. This allows them to differentiate their products and services in an increasingly competitive market."

"Ultimus has already proven to be a highly capable and disciplined operation with a talented team committed to servicing their mutual funds clients and shareholders," says Tom Wiedecker, Executive Vice President and Chief Client Officer of Envision. "The real-time shareholder centric, open and contemporary design of PowerAgent, allows Ultimus and its clients to tailor and increase their services."

The PowerAgent shareholder recordkeeping system has integrated cost basis, workflow and imaging; internet inquiry, trading and e-delivery. Envision also offers Clarity Compliance, a trade monitoring application for Rule 22c-2 that accepts data from any recordkeeping platform. Using real-time open industry standard technology, configurable business rules and a customer-centric interface, PowerAgent users have significantly increased efficency and service quality.
