Wilshire Bids Ohl Farewell

Reported by Irene Park

Apparently, it takes five to replace Jamie Ohl at Wilshire Associates [profile].

As Jamie Ohl prepares for her transition over to ING's retirement shop, President John Hindman issued a written statement (below) lauding Ohl for her contributions to the Santa Monica, California-based company. He also announced the names of the five managing directors who will be taking over Ohl's day-to-day management responsibilities at the firm.

Those five managing directors are:

  • Cleo Chang, head of the Investment Research Group of Wilshire Funds Management;

  • Matt Radgowski, vice president, who is responsible for product management, marketing and sales within the business unit;

  • Jason Schwarz, head of the global client group;

  • Helen Webb Thompson, head of the operations group and compliance representative; and

  • Victor Zhang, CIO and head of investments.

    "Jamie leaves behind an incredibly strong team that will continue to provide exceptional value and service to our clients," Hindman wrote in the statement. "ING U.S. is a current client of Wilshire Funds Management and as Jamie moves to her new role at [ING] we expect that relationship to continue and thrive."

    Ohl will leave Wilshire as of Sept. 28, to start her new role on Oct. 1.
