E*Trade Adds to Index Family

E*Trade Asset Management is right on track with its proprietary family of funds, filing with the SEC to offer two new funds, the E*Trade Extended Market Index and E*Trade Aggregate Bond Index funds.

E*Trade Asset Management was formed in mid-February, and its first fund, the E*Trade S&P 500 Index Fund launched soon after. The company has said that it will continue to add index funds, enhanced index funds, and fund-of-funds in the 18 months.
