A Manning and Napier Board Member Dies


A newly hired director at Manning & Napier [profile] has died.

BuffaloNews.com reports that Michael Serventi, 61, an independent director at the firm was struck and killed last Wednesday, April 18th, while riding a bike in Fort Pierce, FL.

Serventi joined Manning and Napier's board in March and served on the nominating and corporate governance, compensation, and audit committees.

In addition to his responsibilities at Manning and Napier, Serventi was operating partner at Summer Street Capital Partners, LLC, a private equity firm, and president of West Lake Management, an asset management firm.
