The Stork came through and delivered several new funds.

First Investors Management [profile] filed for its International Opportunities Bond Fund, which seeks total return consisting of income and capital appreciation. The fund will invest primarily in bonds. Brandywine Global Investment Management will serve as the subadvisor. Stephen Smith, David Hoffman, and John McIntyre will be the fund's PMs. [SEC Filing]

ING Investments [profile] filed for its Strategic Income Fund, which seeks to provide investors with a high level of current income. The fund will be managed by Christine Hurtsellers, Matthew Toms, and Michael Mata. [SEC Filing]

Yesterday, Henderson Global Investors launched the Dividend & Income Builder Fund. The fund looks to provide a level of income that exceeds the average yield on global stocks by investing in the dividend-paying equities of various companies. The Reaper struck down a fund today.

Nuveen Investments [profile] will liquidate its Symphony Small-Mid Cap Core Fund. As of August 1, 2012, the fund has $1.53 million in AUM, according to Morningstar. The fund will stop accepting purchases from new and existing shareholders as of August 2, 2012. The fund will be liquidated as of the close of business on September 26, 2012. [SEC Filing]
