Wednesday, August 13, 2014 A Rydex Vet Joins Northern Trust FlexShares A Rydex veteran just joined Northern Trust's FlexShares [profile] unit in a business development role. MFWire has learned that Steve DiGiovine started this month with Chicago-based Northern Trust as a vice president and business development executive. DiGiovine most recently served as an ETF specialist at Guggenheim Investments [profile]. MFWire could not immediately reach a Northern Trust spokesman or DiGiovine himself for comment. A spokesman for Guggenheim declined to comment on DiGiovine's departure or on how DiGiovine's duties are being handled. A former financial advisor, DiGiovine joined Rydex (now part of Guggenheim) six years ago as a wholesaler, before moving into the ETF specialist role in 2012. He is based in the Chicago area.
