Eagle's Pepin Picks a Channel Chief

Don Pepin just named an Eagle Asset Management [profile] company insider to take over a key intermediary channel.

MFWire's sister publication, 401kWire, reports that Pepin promoted Jay Natkow to senior vice president and national director of DC I-O sales. St. Petersburg, Florida, Natkow previously served as a DC I-O regional vice president at Eagle, which is a subsidiary regional broker-dealer Raymond James.

Miami-based veteran DC I-O executive Ran Gimeno, who joined Eagle in February 2014 to take over DC I-O sales, left the mutual fund shop last month.

MFWire could not reach Gimeno or Natkow for comment on their moves.

Natkow now reports to Pepin, Eagle's director of institutional sales. Natkow has been within the RayJay family for 14 years, and he is an alumnus of the University of South Florida.

Gimeno, an alumnus of the University of Miami, did DC I-O work for AllianceBernstein, Managers Investment Group, and Principal before joining Eagle.
