At least one industry conference was delayed as Irma continues hitting Florida while Houston recovers from Harvey.

Strategic Insight's PlanAdviser national conference and its 529 conference, both originally scheduled for today through Wednesday at the JW Marriott in Orlando, has been delayed to October 11-13 in light of Irma, our sister publication 401kWire reports.

Yesterday on the opposite coast, NFP's Retirement Plan Advisory Group (RPAG) kicked off its 2017 national conference. The three-day event is being held at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in Dana Point, California, as usual.

Tonight in New York City the kasina team at DST will host a dinner for their 2017 CMO roundtable. The dinner tonight will be at Smith & Wollensky, and the conference tomorrow will be held at Convene.

Also today, the Financial Services Institute (FSI) is scheduled to begin its 2017 forum in Atlanta. It is a three-day event.
