On Monday, Dan Cataldo, Eaton Vance's chief administrative officer, confirmed that Jessica Kung is joining the Boston-based, publicly traded mutual fund firm as chief human resources officer. Kung will replace Mark Burkhard, who will retire next month.

Kung most recently spent more than 15 years at Goldman, eventually serving as senior HR talent advisor in the consumer and investment management division. At Eaton Vance, she will report to Cataldo.

Cataldo lauded Kung for her experience in "talent acquisition, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, compensation, learning and development, and employee relations."

"I also want to thank Mark [Burkhard] for over two decades of dedicated service to the Company," Cataldo adds.

An alumna of Harvard, Kung started her career in Goldman's investment banking division, as a financial analyst. Later, she led recruiting for the investment management division.

Burkhard joined Eaton Vance in 1997 and spending more than a decade at Deloitte & Touche. He is an alumnus of St. John Fisher College.
