Thursday, July 16, 2020 An Advisor Distro Chief In Gotham Passes the Reins An advisor distribution chief in the Big Apple is exiting as he hands off to a 10-year company veteran.
Parisi deferred comment to Gerard Carney, managing director at Guggenheim. "He will manage external and intermediary sales teams as well as marketing and product development for the intermediary channel," Carney confirms to MFWire. "Doug is going to stay with us until the end of the year," Carney continues. Parisi will report to the senior management of Guggenheim and will be based in Chicago, Carney confirms to MFwire. A Robert Morris University alumnus, Parisi joined Claymore (now part of Guggenheim) in 2010 as managing director, national sales manager, which he served as for more than 10 years. In 2012, he became intermediary sales account manager. Prior to Guggenheim, Parisi served New York Life and MainStay Investments for six years, where he served as director, national sales manager. Prior to that he served at BlackRock for more than eight years as director northeast divisional sales manager. A Saint Joseph's University and New York Law School graduate, Mangini served at Guggenheim for more than nine years in a variety of roles, including senior managing director, head of intermediary distribution, as well as managing director. Prior to that, he served at Morgan Stanley Investment Management for nearly five years as managing director.
