Three Fundsters Are Among the Most Powerful Women

Three fundsters are now among the most powerful women in the world, according to the folks at Forbes.

This week they released their latest list of "The World's 100 Most Powerful Women." It includes two fundsters who were on it in past years, too, as well as one new (but familiar) addition.

Abby Johnson, CEO of Fidelity Investments, slipped down two spots to ninth this year. She is also the list's third highest CEO and its fourth highest American.

Mary Callahan Erdoes, CEO of asset and wealth management at JPMorgan Chase, fell nine spots to 40th this year. Forbes notes that Erdoes is on the short list of possible successors for the bank's overall CEO, Jamie Dimon.

Mellody Hobson, co-CEO and president of Ariel Investments, is a newcomer to the list this year and ranks 94th.
