A $25B Shop Hires a Head of Institutional Distribution

Scout Investments [profile] has hired Toby Cromwell to serve as head of institutional distribution and client service.

Cromwell will be responsible for leading the firm's global institutional and sub-advisory distribution business, including consultant and client relationship management.

He has 27-years of sales experience. Before joining Scout, Cromwell spent six years with Columbia Management spearheading the institutional defined contribution investment only strategy, focusing on consultant relations and business development. Before that, Cromwell was with Ashfield Capital Partners, LLC, where he oversaw institutional marketing, sales, and consultant relations. Previously, he was part of Robeco Investment Management's consultant relations team and also led the institutional marketing, sales, and client service efforts for Transamerica Investment Mgmt. He also held a senior sales position at Invesco Institutional.

Scout Investments Hires Toby Cromwell as Head of Institutional Distribution and Client Service



  KANSAS CITY, MO. (February 28, 2013) – Scout Investments, Inc. (Scout) announced that it has hired Toby Cromwell as Head of Institutional Distribution and Client Service. In his role, Cromwell will be responsible for leading the firm's global institutional and sub-advisory distribution business, including consultant and client relationship management.

?Cromwell brings 27 years of industry experience with specific expertise in global consultant relations, institutional sales and client service across an array of equity and fixed income strategies.

Prior to joining Scout, Cromwell spent six years with Columbia Management spearheading the institutional defined contribution investment only strategy, focusing on consultant relations and business development.
