Pregnancies


Deutsche Bank [profile] filed to launch the db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 Index ETF, which would allow U.S. investors to invest in China A shares through the ETF. According to IndexUniverse, foreign investors currently can't invest directly in China A shares.

Barron's, IndexUniverse and Reuters all reported that on March 4 Van Eck Global [profile] filed with the SEC to the Market Vectors Redeemable Gold Trust and the Market Vectors Redeemable Silver Trust. Investors in the ETFs would be able to redeem their shares directly for the corresponding precious metal.

Births


Goldman Sachs Asset Management [profile] launched the Goldman Sachs World Bond Fund.

On March 1, Lexington, Massachusetts-based BTS Asset Management [profile] launched its BTS Diversified Income Fund.

LocalShares Investment Trust plans to launch the NashvilleETF, which follow the LocalShares Nashville Index.

DoubleLine plans to launch three equity funds: the DoubleLine Equities Small Cap Growth Fund, the DoubleLine Equities Growth Fund, and the DoubleLine Equities Global Technology Fund.

Monniker Changer


Value Line [profile] has changed the names of two funds: the Value Line Emerging Opportunities Fund to the Value Line Small Cap Opportunities Fund, and the Value Line Aggressive Income Trust to the Value Line Core Bond Fund.

RS Investments has appointed Michael Reynal and his team management of the RS Emerging Markets Fund and the RS Greater China Fund.
