Appointment: Tom Fisher

On July 25, Franklin Templeton announced the appointment of Tom Fisher as head of US Institutional. He will be reporting to Tom Regner, head of US advisory services.

Company: Nuveen Investments

Appointment: Frank Van Etten

On July 26, Nuveen Investments named Frank van Etten chief investment officer for multi-asset solutions. Frank will be reporting to Margo Cook, president of Nuveen advisory services. Etten will be based in our New York Office.

Promotion: Mike Kelly

On July 26, Mike Kelly was promoted to president and chief investment officer at FS Investments. He holds a BS at Cornell and an MBA at Stanford.

Organization: FINRA

Promotion: Susan Schroeder

On July 26, FINRA promoted Susan Schroeder to head of enforcement and executive VP. FINRA plans to consolidate a unified group led by Schroeder. Schroeder will report to CEO Robert Cook.

Company: Hirtle Callaghan

Appointment: Erica Evans

On July 27, Hirtle Callaghan created a new client engagement role where Erica Evans will work with the investment team as head of client engagement.

Company:Mairs & Power

Appointment: Mark Henneman

On July 28, Mairs & Power named Mark Henneman president and chief investment officer and will assume the roles effective January 1, 2018. Jon Theobald, the current chairman and CEO, will be retiring at the end of this year.

Company: Alger

Appointment: Tina M. Payne

On July 28, Tina M. Payne joins Alger as senior VP, general counsel. Payne, with 16 years of experience, will oversee the legal and compliance departments at Alger.

Company: Investcorp

Appointment: Mohamed A. El-Erian

On July 31, Investcorp adds Mohamed A. El-Erian, chief economics advisor at Allianz and chair of its international advisory board, to Investcorp's advisory board.
