Six asset management industry executives are among the 25 Most Powerful Women in Finance, according to a financial services trade publication that focuses on banking. That's up from five last year. The American Banker team released their 2019 lists on Sunday.

One fundster fell off the list this year, while two new faces joined it.

Mary Callahan Erdoes, CEO of asset and wealth management at J.P. Morgan, again tops the list as the "most powerful woman in finance."

Abby Johnson, chairman and CEO of Fidelity Investments, again ranks second on the list.

Suni Harford, president of UBS Asset Management, climbed to number 12 on the list.

Yie-Hsin Hung, CEO of New York Life Investment Management, climbed to number 13 on the list.

Michelle Seitz, chairman and CEO of Russell Investments, joined the list at number 18.

And Roelfien Kuijpers, head of responsible investments and strategic relationships at DWS Group, joined the list at number 25.
