It was business as usual yesterday for mutual fund firms located in areas hit by the post-Christmas snow storm.
The Boston Herald reports that "Fidelity Investments, State Street Corp. and other Hub financial giants had to keep the lights on because world stock markets were open, but let many employees telecommute."
At
Goldman Sachs Asset Management, a company spokeswoman
told Pensions & Investments that the blizzard had no impact on operations.
Over at fellow Big-Apple-based fund firm,
Third Avenue Management, a spokeswoman
told the pub that the firm is "very much up and running."
