An article entitled "They Can Get Funds for You Wholesale" explores the shift among sponsors to move away from retail "brand name" funds to what Adele Heller of RogersCasey calls lower cost "clone funds". The article notes that employers are moving ahead of the Labor Department in order to find the lowest possible costs for their employees. Lower fees are important in the event of a bear market, according to the magazine.
