Aston Asset Management promoted three internal wholesalers to hybrid wholesalers and is currently hiring two internals.
The newly promoted hybrids are
Mark Kim,
Caleb Svoboda and
Roger Suchy, said Aston president
Ken Anderson in an interview with
The MFWire.
"They've earned the promotion," Anderson said. "We also think that having hybird wholesalers expand our distribution capabilities. They will focus on the part of our product lineup that's younger and smaller."
This is not the first time that Aston has had hybrid wholesalers. About a year ago, it had a pair of hybrids, who have since moved up to being full-fledged externals.
Chicago-based Aston chalked up net sales of nearly $1.5 billion in the first 11 months of 2011. The firm runs 26 mutual funds.
