It looks like the dust is settling on the Asset International/Financial Research Corporation deal, showing a clearer picture of the leadership team within the research shop.

Most notably, Larry Petrone, the former head of research, will be departing FRC on January 30, according to a press release. A search is underway to fill Petrone’s position, according to the firm. Watch for Petrone to resurface at another research shop.

Also, senior vice president of retirement and sub-advisory Kevin Ng now leads FRC’s sub-advisory practice.

“Now that FRC is a division of Strategic Insight [an AI subsidiary], we are able to bring the full resources of Strategic Insight and Asset International to deliver higher-quality research, data, and perspective to FRC’s clients and prospects,” stated Avi Nachmany, director of sesearch for Strategic Insight.
