People Moves

On June 26, Edward C. Merrill, vice president of Prudential Annuities, became the vice president of the Prudential’s Gibraltar Fund, and Alina Srodecka, vice president of tax at Prudential Financial, Inc., became the assistant treasurer to the fund.

On June 30, Michael J. Collins will no longer serve as PM for the Prudential Short Duration High Yield Income Fund.

Fund Mergers

On July 10, if approved by shareholders, the Horizons S&P 500 Covered Call ETF will be reorganized into the newly created Horizons ETF Trust 1. The new fund will be mostly the same and the PMs who managed the old fund will also manage the new one after the fund merger.

Fund Updates

On June 27, shares of the ProShares Equities for Rising Rates ETF are not available for purchase and are not listed on any stock exchanges.

On June 30, the PowerShares S&P 500 Value Portfolio will become the PowerShares S&P 500 Enhanced Value Portfolio.

New Strategies

On June 27, First Trusts tweaked the investment strategy for its Developed International Equity Select ETF and its Emerging Markets Equity Select ETF.

Terminations

On August 4, the Mirae Assets Global Dynamic Bond Fund will liquidate.

Fees

On July 1, the management fee for Value Line VIP Equity Advantage Fund will be permanently reduced.
