A retirement leader at an East Coast asset manager has ascended the ranks, leaving behind a senior sales position for something new in the global product management wing.
On November 8,
Cheri Belski, head of retirement in the U.S. intermediaries business at
T. Rowe Price, rose to head of global product management at the Baltimore-based firm. Our sister publication,
401kWire, recently broke the news.
Belski writes to
MFWire, "Through my years at T. Rowe Price in retirement and sales, I've had the opportunity to offer my leadership skills in various areas of the business."
Her previous position has not yet been filled, and a spokesperson for the company says she is currently "taking over from someone who left the firm to pursue other opportunities."
"I am excited to continue to work with our clients," she adds, "and connect them to the best investment management in the industry. In this new role, I look forward to building upon T. Rowe Price's global product strategy as I continue to expand my contributions to the firm."
A spokesperson for T. Rowe also writes to
MFWire, "T. Rowe Price is an active manager that has invested deeply in expanding product presence across the globe. The head of global product role sits at the intersection of corporate strategy, investments and distribution across the firm globally."
The spokesperson notes, "[This position] serves as a means of continued strategic leadership as the firm reviews its development roadmap, pricing, acquisitions, and vehicle expansions across the global market segments."
Belski has held a number of positions in retirement and sales at T. Rowe since 2001. She is an alumna of the University of Pittsburgh and the Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School.
