Neil Bathon, managing partner at
Fuse Research Network,
confirms that
Loren Fox joined Fuse on Monday. New York City-based Fox now serves as director of research at Needham, Massachusetts-based Fuse.
Fox most recently served as director of research for the
Financial Times' Money-Media arm.
Bathon puts hiring Fox in the context of the Fuse team continuing "to move the bar higher" for client support.
"Loren possesses the experience and talents that are an ideal fit with our reputation for singular service, and we welcome him to the team," Bathon states.
Fox, for his part, describes joining Fuse as "a natural extension" of his work in the industry.
"I have long admired FUSE's candid viewpoints, client-service mindset and commitment to delivering real impact for their clients," Fox states.
Before Fox rejoined Money-Media in 2012, he spent more than five years on the research team at Strategic Insight, another fundster-focused research and consulting firm. Earlier, he worked in various editorial roles at Institutional Investor, Money-Media, Business 2.0, Upside magazine, Dow Jones, and North County News, according to his LinkedIn profile. He is an alumnus of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and of the Johns Hopkins University.
